Maersk recently posted pictures of their new feeder vessel on social media, giving different views of the much-anticipated ship.
The delivery of the vessel at Hyundai Mipo Dockyard will be a major win for both parties and the industry as a whole. It will also feature a dual-fuel engine running on green methanol – a crucial part of Maersk’s mission to reach net-zero emissions by 2040.

Moreover, they have achieved all design milestones with rapid production – slated for summer 2021 delivery.
The vessel will have 2000 TEU capacity with bio-methanol or carbon-neutral e-methanol from the beginning, thanks to the joint effort from Himsen (auxiliary engine), MAN Energy Solutions, Hyundai Engine and Machinery (main engine), Hyundai Mipo, and Maersk. The vessel will also have ABS certification.
