A cargo ship has sunk off the coast of Turkey’s Black Sea province of Bartin.
The dry freight vessel sank due to poor weather conditions according to the state-owned Anadolu news agency.
Two crew members have died whereas six crew members have been rescued by the coast guard.
Efforts are underway to rescue others.
The Palau-flagged cargo ship name ARVIN sunk after taking in water amid heavy weather conditions according to the Coast guards.
The ship belonged to the Ukrainian company Arvin shipping ltd and had two Russians and 10 Ukrainians.
More details about the incident are still not available.
