JAXPORT is reportedly inviting the public to commemorate the arrival of the magenta-colored container vessel, One Stork, the biggest to call Jacksonville.
The vessel measures about 364 meters in length, nearly the size of three and a half football fields. It can be loaded with about 14,000 containers.

The recently finished 47-foot harbor-deepening project provides sufficient water depth to accommodate this huge vessel.
Besides the large numbers, the public is going to watch its arrival. JAXPORT has also come up with a map that reflects the public zones falling all along the St. Johns River to watch the vessel as it slowly sets sail for the port’s Blount Island Marine Terminal.
