On 30th December, during the early hours of Monday, the 6,300 passenger capacity cruise ship, MSC Grandiosa allided with pier at the port of Palermo.
It was reported that the recently launched cruise lightly hit the quay at the port, with her stern while deviating along the quayside.
The damage was repaired on the same day and the itineraries for Grandiosa remain unchanged, the cruise was ready for departure with a bit of delay.
MSC Grandiosa is MSC Cruises’ newest flagship and one of the most environmentally-advanced ships at sea yet.
