Haifa and Ashdod ports announced on Monday that they had ceased operations in solidarity with a labour strike led by Israel’s main labour union.
The strike was launched in opposition to the religious-nationalist government’s proposed judicial reforms.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has been called upon to stop the legislative process concerning these reforms.
