A passenger-cargo vessel named the SABUK NUSANTARA 46 reportedly ran aground on the South Bengkulu Regency, the southwest coast of South Sumatra, on 27 September.

All those on board were reportedly rescued; Indonesian salvors tried salvaging the vessel by sealing the underwater hull breach, but soon after, she was gradually taken off the beach. And on 16 October, she eventually sank into shallows at a depth of 5–6 meters. As a result, so wreck remains somewhat above water.
