A general cargo vessel dubbed POSEIDON reportedly ran onto a highway embankment based in Yanai City, Yamaguchi Prefecture in Japan, on 29 November while sailing to Hiroshima from Mitajiri.
The vessel was refloated around 09:40 (per Tokyo time) and taken to Yanai Anchorage for further inspection. The extent of the damages remains unknown.

POSEIDON was constructed in 2016, and it flies the flag of Japan. The manager is Fujita Shoji KK (AIS).
