World Dream Cruise Ship Set For An Auction

What is the worth of a 2017-built 3,500-guest megaship?

The world will soon find out as the World Dream heads to the auction through the Singapore Sheriff after the Genting Cruise Lines’ demise earlier in 2022.

The Dream Cruises vessel will be sold on 21 December 2022 via sealed bids due by 3:00 pm (in Singapore time).

The ship is currently in a warm layup and stays in Asia close to Singapore.

A surveyor’s report is available online for interested bidders.

The vessel is said to come with approximately $1.2 million in fuel, and bids need to include a deposit of about $50,000.

The surveyor’s report mentioned that the vessel was sound and serviceable.

For the remaining Dream Cruises fleet, Genting Dream stays in service on a charter deal for Resorts World Cruises, while the Explorer Dream remains with the creditors and is out of service.
